I have to be completely frank; I have never liked Britney Spears music. There was a whole craze of these artists and bands in the late 90s. Many of them are long gone now. Somehow Britney managed to stay on top of things. I can't help but wonder what it is the public sees in her. You couldn't pay me to wear a Britney Spears shirt or purchase her new album. All I see is a country girl, who speaks like she never graduated from high school. Heck, her kid sister, Zoe, seems much brighter than she does. I think it was the Britney and Kevin Federline thing that did it for me. The girl ran off to get married to a fellow who already had some other girl pregnant at the time. That's not too bright. You'd think she would have much better taste than this. Regardless, she married the guy, and now they're getting their divorce finished up. Who'd have ever predicted such a turnout?
Pop culture has ravished our great nation. For years now we've seen artists and celebrities come and go. For a while we were looking at New Kids on the Block T-shirts and now it's all about the Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears shirt. In another few years we will be looking at some totally different new celebrity face stamped on articles of clothing and coffee mugs. It's all a cycle. There are only a select few who enter the game and stay for a life time. I seriously doubt Britney Spears is one of them. Therefore you'd better get your Britney Spears shirt, posters and lip gloss while you still can.
